3 days n 2 Nights trip to Allepey( Alappuzha) & Cochin in Kerala.

Route:Bangalore - Hosur - Salem - Coimbatore -Palakad - Cochin - Allepey

30th Night : Left Bangalore in a Qualis,bit packed but was OK.
Reached Coimbatore around 8 in the morning,bcos of heavy traffic in the Dharmapuri road and got flat tires 4 times.

31st :
Reached Cochin in the afternoon around 2 and hit Allepey around 5.
Boarded the House boat around 6.
First time seeing and being on the house boat,ws admiring the House Boat...
Got freshened up ,had lunch at 7pm..:)..Trench started...:)
Awesome lunch,cook Shipu is rockin...
Started of the ride through the canal, stopped by a lake side "KariMeen" shop to buy Fish n Lobsters.
Moved from there...deeep in to the Vembanad lake ..lone place...anchored the boat and the party began..:)
Music,booze,fun -Partied till the midnight,at the stroke of the midnight, a silent new year in some years...
Peaceful and Dark night in between the water...ws gud fun..could see up the fireworks in a distance in the shores of the allepey.
Got on to hog the lovely food pretty early in the morning 2-3 pm...n crashed into the beds of the luxury boat-"House".
1st :
Took a tour around the lake from 7-10:30 am , in house breakfast ..again Idali(Idli) n chaya(chai-tea),coppe(coffee)..:) ..
Docked the boat inthe shores...and thus the house boat experience comes to an end...
Went on to Allepey Beach..too hot to take a dip..found a new friend from accenture there...got a boat (trubo prop engine as claimed)
and took it to the islandic bird sanctuary - Pathiramanal , in Kumarakom.
Came back in the evening after a finding our more predominant crow in the sanctuary...gettin defied by the sounds around,cant find any other
bird species sadly..but the boat trip of 30 odd Kms..ws fun...kool...relaxed...
Hit the Allepey Beach in the evening 5,awesome beach,salty to an extent..(beach n salty expected ,but this was salty to a greater level)..
Then...got in touch with our houseboat manager and got a Home called 'Pamba House' to stay up for the night...
2nd:
Trip extended for some unforeseen causes and proceeded towars Cochin for the Themepark in the outskirts of the city -Veegaland...
Had some excitement in the rides n roller coasters..thn hit the water games...yohooo..ulti fun...maza ayaaa...:)...
spent the day there...thn packed off to bangalore in the evening....12 hrs with 2 breaks....we came to Bangalore on 3rd morning 6.
Ultimate driving by the driver (Basavaraj) in the return trip...

Ultimate experience overall ,Backwaters ,House Boats,Beaches,Theme Parks...Kerala rocks...truly Heavenly n Green..GOD'S OWN COUNTRY.
